Re-Introduction

Hello, well first off I have been a member on here for over a year, but have not been on here much. I do live in the USA, am Native American, and love those vintage toys! I would write in French, but found that whenever I do...it translates really badly, and besides that, I have been asked to just type in English! So I will do so, I hope it all comes out right!

Anyways, I have collected toys my whole life, mostly My Little ponies! I also like Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, Popples, Lady Lovely Locks, She-ra....just to name a few! I love doing trades, its my favoritest thing! I love meeting the people who also collect toys, to hear their stories and backgrounds into how they got started.

Toys have become my theraphy in a way, they have helped me through many a difficult time...and even though that sounds a little silly, they remind me of a better time that is nostalgic and comforting. They are my passion and maybe just a little bit of an obsession as well! But perhaps some of you could relate!

Ok so I don't want to overwrite my welcome so I hope I get to meet and know many of you! I love the layout of the forum, the extent of information, and all the different toys that I see on here that I have never seen anywhere else! Its just so inviting, and pretty, and pink, I absolutely love it!

It's not silly to say that toys remind us of a better time. This is what I feel too. Life was so easier when we were a child and didn't even notice all the "adult problems". We just played hours and hours with our toys.
Now I love to search after the toys I had (or didn't have but wanted ^^) and clean and renove them. Makes me feel good

I so agree with you when you say that it reminds you a better life in youth, happiness, simplicity, a kind o f paradise, stressless and plump if I can say as a bed full of blankets and toys to live with, play for hours and imagine wonderful stories

Welcome! I'm an old/new member too, and my mother tongue isn't French either , but I guess it's ok and people will understand somehow I've been wondering, there aren't any message boards like this one in English? I'm so glad I've found this place though, I live in France and it's so nice to talk with French collectors about this passion!
